Good morning. Many of you have noticed I have not been on here as much. Fact is, I’m not a bullshitter and I don’t do small talk well.
I’m having a hard time finding middle ground. I’m having a hard time showing up and speaking my truth and making sure that I remain in a positive place- my energy flowing to the positive part of the grid. We are on the eve of Thanksgiving and yet I’m reading the people are being injured trying to protect our rights for clean water and in protecting their sacred lands.
Women are being stripped naked and incarcerated in dog kennels. People are being maced and shot with rubber bullets. There my concerns of biological and chemical warfare agents being used. And apparently petitions and phone calls are being made left and right and yet nothing changes. DID YOU READ THAT? ON AMERICAN SOIL.
I sat in a school cafeteria, last week, during Thanksgiving feast. A young girl, she looked about 7, gifted the auditorium with a song. She had a small, meager voice and she sang in front of the entire cafeteria. I thought she was Brave. At the end of her performance, very few people clapped. More than half in attendance, sitting in the cafeteria, were adults.
It’s not like we were at a concert and she was the opening act. (I am not saying I condone the behavior then, simply that I could understand it). We were at an elementary school. SHE IS THE MAIN EVENT. What the fuck other was so important that you could not clap for the child that was performing in front of you, in her Elementary School? Your phone? Your selfie? Your schedule?
I’m done with this society. What the fuck is more important than your water? Your ass? Your #Thanksgiving recipe? Your gym flow?
